The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce CPQ expertise with strong integration experience, executive communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, governed technical solutions.Architecture & Solution DesignOwn end-to-end CPQ solution architecture: quote lifecycle, pricing rules, BOM generation, approval routing, and quote-to-order handoffLead design decisions for complex pricing scenarios including special pricing guardrails, milestone-based rebate repricing, and configurator-driven BOM integrationProduce solution design documents, data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and CPQ configuration guidesSalesforce Platform & IntegrationDesign role-based security: field-level masking, Experience Cloud sharing rules, permission set strategy, and OEM/partner data isolationProvide technical governance on Apex, Flow, SOQL optimization, and governor limit strategy across CPQ and portal workstreamsGuide CPQ-to-Order integration ensuring clean, traceable handoff to downstream financial systemsDelivery & Stakeholder EngagementServe as primary technical point of contact between the delivery team and client stakeholders during design and build phasesFacilitate solution design workshops to clarify scope, resolve ambiguous requirements, and produce documented architecture decisionsEnsure 85%+ unit test coverage, validate CPQ configuration integrity across environments, and own technical risk identificationRequired Skills & Qualifications8+ years experience in Salesforce enterprise architecture frameworks and integration patterns8+ years hands-on CPQ in Solution Architect Role6+ Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick / SBQQ)6+ years experience in price rules, product rules, discount schedules, block pricing6+ years experience in Quote line architecture design for high-volume, multi-product environments 6+ years experience in Advanced approval processes, subscription products, and amendment/renewal flows6+ years of experience in CPQ integration with ERP, rebate platforms, and external configurators via REST / MuleSoft 6+ years of experience in CPQ security model: SBQQ permissions, FLS, Experience Cloud access, price masking by role2+ years of Manufacturing Cloud or high-tech / semiconductor CPQ experience Salesforce Platform6+ years of experience in Apex: trigger frameworks, batch/queueable jobs, governor limit management 6+ years of experience in Flow Builder: automation design and legacy Process Builder migration6+ years of experience in Cloud: partner/OEM self-service quoting and sharing model 6+ years of expereince in SOQL optimization for large-volume CPQ datasetsIntegration & Architecture6 + years of experience in MuleSoft or comparable middleware for CPQ-to-ERP and configurator integration 6+ years experience in REST/SOAP API design: contracts, payload structures, async/sync patterns6 + years of experience in SAP SD or Vistex/rebate management integration with Salesforce CPQ Error handling, retry logic, and integration monitoring patternsPreferred SkillsOmniStudio (OmniScript, DataRaptors) for portal UI patternsERA, ServiceNow, or comparable BOM configurator integration Agentforce, Einstein Analytics, or AI-assisted quoting featuresExport compliance or regional pricing restrictions within CPQ TTableau / Einstein Analytics for CPQ pipeline and forecast reportingSalesforce Shield, Field Audit Trail, or Event Monitoring Prior NTT DATA delivery or familiarity with NTT governance frameworksAbility to communicate (oral/written) effectively to exchange information with our client. The starting pay range for this role is $157,492.00 to $262,488.00 Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
